Irish pair to form €1bn wind joint venture Irish utility ESB and forestry business Coillte are poised to form a joint venture to invest up to €1bn in building 1GW of wind farms in Ireland.
The pair are aiming to build up to 30 onshore wind farms totalling 1GW in the tie-up by 2030, on lands owned by Coillte. They plan to take the projects to completion and then sell them to recycle capital. Ta ...
